Information:  Hello and Frohe Weihnachten (Merry Christmas in German)!  We are visiting Freiberg, Germany!  Freiberg is a university and former mining town in Saxony, Germany, known as the Silver City, with around 41,000 inhabitants. It sits on the Freiberger Mulde, a tributary of the Mulde River.  The entire historic center of the Silver City is under monument protection, and together with local monuments of mining history such as the Reiche Zeche ore mine, it has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Erzgebirge/Krušnohoří Mining Region since 2019 due to its exceptional history in the development of mining techniques across many centuries.

The weather continues as very cold and rainy! F

reiburgs Christmas market is based around it's cathedral. As a matter of fact, the Freiburg Christmas market looks like what i thought a market would be! Here are some pics to enjoy!
